An evening of music and memories at the Santa Barbara Bowl
A show at the Bowl is indeed an evening to remember and an event certain to make your time in Santa Barbara a cherished memory. Carved into the Santa Barbara hillside, this venue was originally built to host the Old Spanish Days final pageant. The outdoor amphitheater of 4,900 seats provides an intimate entertainment experience under the stars. And an expansive view that overlooks Downtown and the Pacific Ocean make the perfect backdrop to relax, enjoy a light dinner and cheers to a local brew or wine while the sun begins to set and the music starts to play.
Plan your stay in Santa Barbara and experience a night at the Bowl
The Santa Barbara Bowl concert-series continues through October and each year promises some of the biggest bands and artists in entertainment. Past musicians of note have included Joni Mitchell, Santana and Janet Jackson, to name just a few; But of course, Katy Perry’s “Coming Home” in 2018 was particularly special, as the homegrown artist returned for a benefit concert to assist Santa Barbara area charities in helping those who were impacted by the Thomas fire and the subsequent flooding.
